Small Creeks. Lasting Memories.

Founded by a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and Purple Heart recipient.

Roaring Fork Rod Co is being developed by David Bryant. Born and raised in Monroe, Georgia, David now calls Portland, Tennessee home. He served as a Landing Support Specialist in the Marine Corps from 2007 to 2015, supporting logistics operations in Afghanistan and leading and training fellow Marines.

After moving to his home beside the Red River in Portland, David fell in love with microlight fishing and exploring creeks and rivers. The options he found did not offer the quality and attention to detail he wanted. That personal experience inspired Roaring Fork Rod Co: a company he is building to develop premium fishing gear for fellow small-water enthusiasts.

The idea begins with simple fishing forms, natural textures, and thoughtful details, inspired by the creeks and traditions of the Smokies.

The Minnow compact reel-ready rod leads our development plans, with The Heritage fixed-line cane pole and The Creek Stalker ultralight spinning rod envisioned for the future. The Minnow is planned as a rod-only offering; a compatible small spinning reel, line and tackle will be customer supplied. Final hardware, blank choice, length and reel compatibility need prototype testing.

We are at the concept stage. Prototypes have not yet been built. Materials, specifications, packaging, pricing, and launch timing remain open; no products are available to order.
